Favorite pics are that gorgeous shot of the Blue Ridge--that's some serious technicolor!--and BK nodded off in the car LOL!
Congrats on a fantastic ride and lots of $$$ raised! I won't be at all surprised to read your Severe Century report :)

carmenUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13001376673125827417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7020795192961608117.post-2218913123680293722012-06-12T09:18:12.954-04:002012-06-12T09:18:12.954-04:00Thanks TJ. I am training currently for my very first REAL ride, a century, in September. It's in honor of my cancer fighting kiddo. Anyway, I'm so thrilled to read your advice and experience. I, too, am addicted to cycling. I love every single miserable second! ;) It's something I think about constantly- and I'm glad you do too! Thanks for posting this and allowing me to "come along for the ride!"

Sarah
www.thinfluenced.com
Ride: Trek 1000 CSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11429074991314349493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7020795192961608117.post-79833612976770697082012-06-11T21:04:22.361-04:002012-06-11T21:04:22.361-04:00Nice ride, brother! Your post was a fantastic representation of the actual time and tedium of such a long time on the bike. It really is a long time to turn pedals and a lot of stuff happens internally and in the countryside all around. Road kill alone can fill volumes as well as the wild stuff that passes through your head while you pedal and pedal and pedal some more.

Congratulations, Brian, you make us proud. More, please!

tjTim Joe Comstockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05351911607475089105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7020795192961608117.post-28392085932680839342012-06-10T19:53:55.219-04:002012-06-10T19:53:55.219-04:00Hey Brian, just saw your post.
